Our kitchen team led by the longtime chef Heinz Mahlenbrey offers culinary delights and sophisticated menus from the region, influenced by seasonal cuisine such as springtime asparagus in all variations, in summer fresh chanterelles, and game dishes and meat platter in autumn / winter.

Every gourmet will find tasty specialities from our extensive menu.

We pay special attention to the ingredients in the preparation of our dishes . Our partner for game specialties are local hunters, they bring the hunted game directly to our house. We cook fresh and regionally for you, with meat from the local butcher, trout from our own pond and home-grown vegetables and salad. All soups and sauces are specially made in our kitchen from basic ingredients.
Homemade speciallities like spaetzle, pasta dishes, delicious desserts and sorbets are also not to be missed in our Baden cuisine. Vegetarians will find a varied selection to choose from.

Particular specialties include our homemade farmhouse bread baked from Senior cook, according to an old traditional recipe, also the making of homemade sausage, liver sausage and black pudding, traditionally made from the senior chief , and with this, a house burned Williams or Mirabelle brandy – just a pleasure.
